About Mizuno

Mizuno is a Japanese sporting-goods giant whose golf irons are legendary among better players. Its Grain Flow Forged HD process, using a single billet of 1025 carbon steel, produces the soft, pure feel that gives rise to the slogan "Nothing feels like a Mizuno."

The MP and Pro lines are tour blades and players’ cavity backs, while the JPX series spans from forged game-improvement to tour models. Mizuno also makes underrated drivers (ST-series) and excellent wedges.

Mizuno appeals to ball-strikers and traditionalists who prioritize feel and shot-making. Their irons are a rite of passage for many single-digit handicappers.

Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forged process and 1025E carbon steel produce an exceptionally soft, solid sensation at impact that many golfers consider the best in the game.

Are Mizuno irons only for low handicappers?

No. While Mizuno makes tour blades, the JPX line includes forgiving, forged game-improvement irons that suit mid-handicappers who still want great feel.
